Job Description
- Communicate with each client to gain a vision of what the client wants.
- Research the market in which the product will be sold to find product trends and try to gain a competitive edge on other designs.
- Find out what customers want from a product, how they use it and why they prefer certain product features over others.
- Assess competitors’ products to identify important features and compare performance with equivalent company products.
- Identify the key requirements for a new product or a product upgrade.
- Carries out or supervises detailed design work, preparing working drawings and a prototype if required.
- Work with marketing professionals to ensure a successful launch of the product.
- Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and productivity.
- Make product updates based on changing business demands.
- Review and recommend changes to current product development processes.
Job Requirements
- University Degree (Preferred Faculty of engineer or Faculty of Applied Arts).
- Post Graduates Studies are Preferred.
- Problem solving and decision making skills are necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills .
- Very Good command of English.
- Excellent research skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight situations.
- Basic drawing skills .
- Design programs 2D & 3D.
