Job Description
- Design effective budget models for departments and the entire
company. - Assists management with the identification of budget problems,
processes and procedures. - Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget.
- Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to
maintain expenditure controls. - Direct the preparation of regular and special budget reports
- Review operating budgets to analyze trends affecting budget
needs - Monitoring and adjusting budgets throughout the year.
- Consult with managers to ensure that budget adjustments are
made in accordance with program changes. - Coordinate capital budgeting approvals.
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at
the end of each reporting period. - Seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits.
