Job Description
Bright Creations is looking for bright and talented Wordpress Developer responsible for both backend and frontend development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Angular) and (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
- Your role will be to work within the PHP team on exciting projects including websites, web applications and APIs for mobile apps backend among other activities.
- You will be expected to develop applications using PHP modern frameworks such as Yii2 & Laravel5 in addition to open source content management systems such as Drupal & WordPress.
- You will also get involved in some interactive development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or MSc. in Computer Science or Related Degree.
- 2-5 Years of experience in PHP Development.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular.
- Experience in building user interface for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience in designing and developing responsive design website.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTFUL APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience with PHP Frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP is plus.
- Familiarity with Linux Operating System and Command Line Interface.
- Flexible skills to be able to learn new technologies quickly and easily migrate between different PHP based technologies.
- Good command of English.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
