Job Description
Responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers,
Focus on development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services,
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Communicate with a team of developers, designers, project managers, and other personnel to ship new features
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proficient with Swift, and Cocoa Touch
- Have developed more than one iOS apps
- Familiarity with Objective-C
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as git
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
- Knowledge of code Unit-testing for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Ability to develop applications for time-sensitive projects while considering business/system requirements
- Collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
