About the Job

The incumbent of the position is responsible to identify; monitor and troubleshoot overall IT operations in the Head Office and Branches in accordance with the IT operations team, which may include servers, workstations, desktop systems, network Internet and other computer technology in addition to database administration as follow:

  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, securing, troubleshooting, diagnosing & repairing different systems used for IT operations.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, data replication and encryption.
  • Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans.
  • Ensure that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are fulfilled correctly
  • Write SQL scripts and stored procedures to support validate, clean, and deliver data deliverables to support contract requirements.
  • Participate in the development of internal systems and products using API capabilities.
  • Develop contract defined reports utilizing Crystal Reports,…etc.
  • Write policies & procedures for different systems used for IT operations
Job Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology or any related study.
  • At least (8) eight years’ experience in IT or any relevant field.
  • 4+ years database administration in a large enterprise environment
  • Experienced in IT security including setting IT security polices & procedures
  • Previous experience with SQL for MS SQL Server is preferred
  • Very good Knowledge of database and MIS systems including Database structure analysis.
  • Ability to identify, define and deal with IT & IS related problems and incidents and solve them in a due manner.
  • Strong knowledge in UNIX & Linux
  • Strong software and hardware computing skills
  • Excellent working and speaking knowledge of English language is a must.
  • Coordination, Communication, planning, problem solving, documentation, Customer Service skills
  • Flexibility, Integrity, Enthusiasm towards work, Confidentiality.
  • To understand the business cycle, and provide smart solutions to facilitate the processes. Customize entities required to reach organization goals.
  • Apply Unit Testing on projects and assure functionality.
