Job Description
Job Scope:
- The PR Officer will oversee all PR activities in the company, working closely with the senior management team.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Planning PR strategies and activities.
- Working with partners and suppliers to implement these activities
- Developing periodic content and managing online presence (including website and social media) of the company
- Writing and distributing press releases
- Building relationships with relevant stakeholders including the press in Egypt and internationally
- Organizing promotional and community engagement events
- Analyzing media coverage
- Managing administrative functions such as travel and small events as needed
Job Requirements
The position is well suited for candidates who enjoy working with entrepreneurs and have strong initiative and creativity. We are looking for candidates with the following profile and skill-set:
- Passion about entrepreneurship and knowledge of the ecosystem in Egypt
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role
- Experience managing media relations and social media
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, plan effectively and work well under pressure
- Self-starter with strong initiative
- Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
