Job Description
- Develop the required system for estimation and bidding
- Making pre-qualification documents, both standards as well as project specific questionnaires
- Prepare construction cost estimates with respect to scope accuracy. Review subcontractors offer and deriving the most economical cost estimation including developing of cost loaded programs, cash flow and Manpower Histogram
- Proactively review the tender techno commercial clauses
- Pricing of Variation claims, evaluation with Main Contractors/Project Managers and Finalization of Variation Orders (VO)
Job Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- Experience in MEP estimation and tendering process
- Success in bidding & tendering process
- Profitability of the project compared to budget and estimate
- Accuracy of estimates and budgets
- Success % in bidding process
- Have a wide vendor base and knowledge about cost
- Able to fully understand the technical requirements/specifications described in the bid and arrive at most optimum solution and cost
- Knowledge of codes and relevant international/local codes and standards
- Experience in constructibility study, contracts management with a focus on cost optimization and offering the most economical bid solution
- Understanding of QA/QC and HSE requirements
- Knowledge and experience in project/activity scheduling
