Job Description:

• Manages staff members in clerical, administrative and clinical areas.
• Manages staff, development and training.
• Supervises daily activities in the facility.
• Manage purchasing decisions.
• Holds meetings and communicates with staff.
• Ensures that the entire medical operation at the health care facility is running a smoothly as possible.
• Supervises staff in a number of departments.
• Attends public meetings to publicize the health care facility.
• Handles community outreach programs.
• Strives to improve the overall quality of health care for each patient.
• Assists with clinical assessments of patients.
• Helps keep patient medical records updated with the most recent medical treatments.
• Works with insurance companies and managed care contractors to help get medical procedures approved for patients.
