Job Description
Build functional systems that improve the customer experience.
Responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. Have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with NodeJS, GO, or Python, execute, and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that best practices is routinely exercised and complied with the company processes
- Performance monitoring
- Managing administrative tasks of the developers
- Drive high-performance continuous improvement
- Hiring decisions concerning the developers.
- Support the team in optimizing their process.
- Keep the sprint purposeful and effective
Job Requirements
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration (e.g., filesystems, inodes, system calls) or networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies and hardware).
- Experience with virtualization systems (vmware).
- Experience with containers (Docker).
- Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Bash scripting.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Zappix, Nagios).
- Experience with Version Control systems (e.g. Git).
- Knowledge about continuous integration systems (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Preferred basic knowledge about scaling APIs and websites.
- Preferred basic knowledge with container orchestrators (e.g., Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud provider solutions (e.g, DigitalOcean, AWS)
