Job Description
- Design and Coordinate the Installation of Integrated Security Systems.
- Translate a wide variety of customer needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plans to meet customer requirements.
- Interact with Program leadership, project teams and stakeholders to drive project objectives.
- Provide excellent communication skills.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of legacy security systems as well as new platforms.
- Work closely with partners and vendors to insure project deliverables are according to project goals through good communications.
- Work with vendors to procure improved or replacement equipment,
- Interact as needed with service providers and vendors, 3rd parties, etc.
- Market the capabilities of security systems.
- Create and maintain support documentation for security systems.
- Manages activities for assigned programs/projects including.
- Activity sequencing and planning, Resource planning and management, Project scheduling, Deliveries meet time and quality goals, Financial/budget management, Quality control, Risk/issue management, Scope/project change management.
- Manage project intersections and dependencies with stakeholder groups across different departments within the company.
- Assist with project close, create and/or ensure operational support documentation and transition to operations is successful.
- Maintain contact with customer to ensure customer satisfaction on all assigned projects, before, during and after the project life cycle.
Job Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in Project Management with at least 3 years specifically Managing Physical Security Projects.
- PMP Certified and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
- Experience working with medium to large and complex projects from start up to completion.
- Excellent Knowledge of Access Control, IP CCTV, Biometric and Total Security Management Systems and Physical Security Barriers Systems,
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of physical security concepts,
- Understanding of IT support with basic networking fundamentals,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of personal integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with customers, vendors, and integrators.
- Technical writing/documentation, Product and vendor evaluation.
- Ability to be on-call after working hours, including holidays.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
