We are looking for our Vezeeta ambassador who is responsible for spreading the Vezeeta story around our current geographies and beyond. We are looking for a storyteller with a passion for the written and spoken word. You are a social person with exceptional listening, communication, and most importantly influencing, lobbying and consensus building skills.
Here’s what an ordinary day looks like, you will:
- Listen to the business to hear stakeholder strategy and business requirements to create and execute a master content strategy and plan for all divisions and regions served.
- Strategize on, envision, and write content and stories for the full spectrum of marketing and communications products.
- Network and sustain withstanding relations with local, regional and international media and key industry influencers and thought leaders.
- Draft and enlist an army of active bloggers and copywriters to serve as a second line of defense in your content plan.
- Interview business stakeholders to write press releases, articles, op-eds, emails, and speeches.
- Proof-read, edit, approve, and be the sole guardian of all our mass communication.
- Manage PR agencies and external vendors in the turnkey delivery of memorable events.
- Some international travel may be required.
Job Requirements
You’re going to need this to carry out this job:
- A Bachelor degree in Mass Communication or relevant field of study from a reputable university.
- Near-native mastery of English and Arabic with impeccable bilingual writing skills. French is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, ideally within the high tech industry (must have some internal communications experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Media and Public Relations, ideally within the the startup scene industry along with a strong network of contacts with local and regional media.
- A well-groomed and presentable person by nature.
- The ability to adopt different writing styles and tonality for various audiences and channels.
- A holistic understanding and passion for logistics and extreme attention to little details.
