Responsibilities
- Work closely with designers and engineers to develop and contribute to creative web solutions designed to meet measurable goals
- Translate wireframes into visual designs, build design prototypes using CSS and semantic HTML markup compatible with major browsers
- Be a tech leader whose expertise is sought out by teammates
- Discuss and drive technical solutions with the team by providing innovative new ideas to solving existing, and new, problems
- Constantly seek to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of industry trends
- Bringing those trends back to the team to continue to push our website forward
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience with Javascript frameworks, especially AngularJS
- Experience with Photoshop to convert PSDs to HTML and CSS
- Strong Javascript in general
- Expert understanding & implementation of CSS & HTML
- Demonstrated experience with Responsive and Mobile Design
- Experience working with RESTful and not-so-RESTful APIs
- Outstanding knowledge of object oriented programming.
- You have a good grasp of UI elements and UX concepts.
Recommended to Have
- Cloud (AWS) experience
- Sketchapp and zeplin Tools experience
- Frontend and Backend Frameworks (React, Express, Node, SASS, HTML5)
- Rapid development and deployment approaches (Docker)
- SEO Knowledge
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to create and maintain Javascript; in-depth knowledge of jQuery and other libraries
- Advanced knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS (HTML5/CSS3 highly desirable)
- Expert knowledge about current web technologies, web standards, browser compatibility issues, usability, best practices and the software development cycle
