Data Management & Analytics Specialist
Overview:
The Data Management & Analytics Specialist primary role is to lead data management & analytics design and implementation activities. He/she will work closely with relevant Sales, Presales, Delivery, and Project Management team members to ensure successful sales and implementation for data management & analytics solutions including adopting related data policies, standards, and practices at all levels in order to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet Naseej client’s overall business digital needs. He/she will also work closely with client business and operational leaders to improve the quality and value of client core data assets and respond to regulatory protection requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist sales & presales teams in their activities by preparing and executing demos / POCs / attending meetings etc.
- Lead or contribute to partner relationships with Naseej technology partners
- Prepare and provide internal training
- Understand client needs and requirements and translate it into data, analytical and performance management solutions, and architectures in line with client’s business needs
- Advise on modern Data Management & Analytical architectures and solutions
- Design, build and deploy modern Data Management & analytical solutions
- Develop and perform audits, validations and associated processes and tracking methods to ensure data quality
- Document, develop and improve internal and client-facing processes to increase service delivery, improve productivity and minimize risk
- Perform troubleshooting in collaboration with teams to identify issues and scope
- Work within Naseej, Client or blended advisory or delivery teams
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Management
- Advanced knowledge of modern Data Management & Analytical Solutions
- Knowledge of industry leading Data Quality and Data Protection management practices.
- Advanced knowledge of best practices relating to MDM, RDM, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Privacy
- Advanced knowledge of Data Governance organizational, practices, policies, and processes
- Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakes principles, modelling, and architecture
- Extensive experience designing and building Data Integration processes for modern data management & analytical solutions
- Proven experience with one or more leading Data Cataloging, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, and Quality Management tools
- Proven experience with one or more leading Data Integration tools
- Understanding of modern Master Data Management concepts, Data Stewardship processes, and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor landscape, and best practices
- Exceptional client facing and consultative skills, ability to efficiently communicate with business and IT stakeholders, understand requirements, advise on data management & analytical solutions establishing link to business objectives, and consolidate these into solution and architecture designs
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Able to assist with analyzing vague business requirements and turning them into actionable data requirements, business requirements, functional requirements, and test plans
- Pay strong attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodology, and practical experience of applying these principles for design and delivery of Data Management & Analytics solutions
- Previous experience leading small technical and business teams
Experience in following is a plus:
- Cloud data analytics platforms architecture from leading service providers like Azure, AWS, Google, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Real time data integration, Apache Kafka and NiFi knowledge
- Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization tools, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Dataiku, Alteryx
- Advances experience in Database administration and ETL tools
