The Danaher Diagnostics platform consists of a community of six fellow Diagnostics Companies including Beckman Coulter (Diagnostics), Leica Biosystems, Cepheid, Radiometer, Hemocue and Mammotome. Together, we’re working to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health problems.The Saudi GM for Diagnostics will be responsible for scaling up current business and driving profitable growth of $500M+. She/He will develop and execute a strategy for the Diagnostics Platform with focus on growth through Key Account Management and other growth initiatives. The GM will have shared responsibility with opco leadership for growth initiatives and results.Initially, the role will focus on accelerating growth and managing commercial operations for all the Diagnostics businesses except Beckman Coulter Dx business. Eventually the role will be encompassing all DX platform companies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Dx Opco GMs in developing and executing a corporate strategic accounts strategy and drive core growth for most important accounts within Saudi Arabia. Lead a successful Go-direct business model for DX companies in KSA. Develop the long-term vision aligned with market healthcare dynamics by close monitoring and assessment of healthcare economics, market consolidation and opportunities for Dx Platform companies to gain market share and increase relevance.Improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience especially in the services space by driving standard work, synergies across opcos and best practices sustainably through strong sales education and excellent execution.Lead the Strategic Accounts sales funnel management and forecasting processes related to the accounts in focus; manage the monthly sales reporting process, and drive countermeasures to get back on track from misses to target. Develop Saudi Dx Opco leaders by establishing annual goals for the group and coach, monitor and improve team performance through the use of DBS tools and processes with a keen focus on continuous improvement, customer intimacy and focus.Influence decisions related to executing the platform strategy and support the group in developing a scalable strategic sales structure that will allow the business to invest in resources effectively to capitalize on market growth opportunities.Develop and implement comprehensive governance frameworks for shared resources, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes to promote accountability and transparency.The ideal candidate will have: An in-depth understanding of Saudi vision 2030 and evolving competitive landscape.Experience in creating and executing multi-year business strategy; developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy that supports the Danaher Diagnostics business objectives and growth targets in Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Danaher Diagnostics Operating companies.Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points, communicate effectively, influence development of action plans working through Dx Opco leaders and bring to a successful conclusion.Deep market knowledge of Healthcare Space, and competitor intelligence and the capacity to identify market tendencies before they become trends.Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher; Can quickly build strong relationships and quickly establish significant credibility, trust, and support (i.e., Customers, peers, subordinates, and senior management) as well as developing strong followership within the commercial organization.Strong sales and marketing management capabilities; Provide strategic direction and guidance to the sales and marketing teams of Diagnostics OpCo to optimize performance and achieve sales targets. Ensure the implementation of effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and market presence.Strong negotiation and commercial skills; can support team and work at high levels within customer decision-making unit to negotiate complex deals that are profitable to the company and in line with revenue and margin objectives. Solid cross-function influence skills within the organization and at customer sites, gaining buy-in and engagement.a minimum of 20 years of leading & growing ~$300M+ business in Saudi (among other regions) with multiple BU/product lines.
