Job Description

  • Developing and managing the project’s schedule by the following.
  • Study all the project documents like BOQ, drawings, contract the project scope, constraints and objectives.
  • Preparation and Generating of all Periodic reports and tracking Sheets.
  • Preparation of Procurement & Engineering Schedules.
  • Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
  • Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
  • Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
  • Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PM team as and when required.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in civil Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
  • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills. • Mature, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with good initiative.
  • Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports.
  • Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
  • Experience from 3:5 years as a planning engineer in construction filed Is A Must.
  • Excellent user of Primavera and Microsoft Office
  • Great attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong English capability.

  • Day-to-day basic work of planning, scheduling, editing and controlling production orders based on time-phased MRP requirements which provides displacement of expected time, quantity and dates to fulfill customer demand
  • Ensure timely availability of materials for production lines
  • Communicate the production schedule with the production departments and work to follow it up in order to be implemented
  • Follow-up inventory management to maintain appropriate inventory levels or turns and get rid of excess or obsolete stock in a timely manner
  • Monitor and evaluate production statistics, such as downtime, productivity, etc., and advise on performance as per the standards
  • Evaluate set time standards in relation to actual performance and recommend action as needed
  • Control the daily flow of materials through processing lines to ensure correct customer order priority is achieved while keeping in mind maximum productivity and production rules to reduce preparation time
  • Review and follow up on orders in production lines and express opinion on any problem in orders.
  • Communicate with sales for any update regarding order progress
