Job Description
Review designs of the primary engineering for HV substations for various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and expansions.
Review and communicates finding with the consultant regarding design drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry standards and company guidelines.
Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies and the necessary calculations required for electrical equipment sizing.
Prepare, review the necessary technical specifications for substation electrical components.
Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary information for design and construction.
Provide quality reviews of construction packages prior to issuance to construction.
Provide technical assistance during the construction of projects.
Job Requirements
3-7 years of experience in primary engineering of substations.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
Proficient use of software: AutoCAD - ETAP
Strong understanding of electrical theories, codes & standards of electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
