Job Description
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine the layout and materials required for carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials to construct frameworks, furniture, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, molding, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
- Repair or replace damaged woodwork, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic consistency.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Inspect completed work for quality, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Estimate material requirements and assist in sourcing supplies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, materials, and techniques to enhance craftsmanship.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of professional carpentry experience.
