Job Description

The position holder of a Planning and follow up senior specialist is mainly responsible for the annual fiscal plan, monitor spending over the year to remain within budget, estimate future spending requirements and provide regular report of how the expenses are running versus the planned figures.”

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in settling annual plan by collecting departments’ needs and convert it to financial figures.
  • Manages daily plan follow up by having follow up records day to day and needed files for that by recording the expenses received either from purchasing section or from finance department in the annual plan.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
  • Issue quarter reports analyzing planned expenses versus actual.
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
  • Capable to analyze with a statistical model, analytic report, or other type of data summary.
  • Develop methods for data file formatting, data analysis methodologies, and management reporting.
  • Create effective strategic planning methods.
  • Identify data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets.
  • Track major changes in all aspects of operation.
  • Supervise the Annual Stationary consumption for each department and responsible for setting annual stationary plan.
  • Record Stationary consumption by all Universities’ departments.
  • Assist in gathering relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use.
  • Assist in setting schedule for project or development and flow of requisite materials.
  • Other duties as may be required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
  • Experience managing budgets (3-5 years).
  • Highly analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical forecasting.
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail.
