Job Description
- Execute and update manual test cases as assigned
- Review and validate existing defect reports
- Write clear, concise, well investigated defect reports
- Write manual test cases based on written and/or verbal requirements
- Review automation test results for failures and perform basic root cause analysis and test fixes
- Complete tasks by deadlines
- Conduct functional testing, regression testing and assist the customer during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Interact with test leads and test team to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
- Expertise in gathering and analyzing requirements, writing system test plans, developing requirement traceability matrices (RTM), writing bug documentation, and developing test summary reports for manual testing.
- Develop and implement feature, regression and system tests for new software development.
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using ALM/Octane or other specified tool.
- Prepare briefing documents and participate in client review and discussions
- Conduct functional testing, regression testing and assist the customer during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Write E2E test cases.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of IT experience in Application and web Software Testing preferably in the E-commerce industry.
- Preferred having a previous experience with E2E/UI testing with (selenium , cypress )
- A Bachelor's Degree is a must in computer science or related major.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle
- Proficient in functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance testing
- Well-organized and self-directed individual; ability to balance and prioritize competing requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.
