Job Description
- To study the project contract documents for cost, time and contractual issues and to become familiar with the project.
- Reviews the constructed quantities on the site.
- Reviews the contractors’ invoices and certifies payments.
- Assesses the contractor claims.
- Prepares necessary correspondence with respect to financial issues after consultation with the Site PM/Construction Manager.
- Studies the financial impact of prospective change orders prior to their initiation.
- Reports to Site PM/CM/RE on changes in Contract Price resulting from change orders and actually executed quantities.
- Review, monitor and advise the Site PM/CM/RE on all requests for additional payment including measurement, variations and claims submitted by the contractor.
- Evaluate materials on site for the purpose of the payment certificate.
- Assist Site PM/CM/RE in preparing the monthly progress report.
