Job Description

  • Responsible for achieving Zewail City's overall KPIs according to the segment of specialty.
  • Ensure priority and work instructions are aligned with the Executive Management Vision and precedence.
  • Ensure proper teamwork, integration within the team under his reports as well as the rest of the ZC team members.
  • Responsible for building effective communication with the team members under his supervision understanding the ZC overall objectives and departmental KPIs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and high level of integrity among the team.
  • Contribute to Zewail City strategy and enhance, improve the Human Resources Strategy Framework in coordination with the Executive President.
  • Set objectives and goals for improving the competency of the department team members and evaluate their annual performance. Ensure full compliance of Zewail City policies and procedures as well as governing laws.
  • Provide annual budget and Plan, keep tracking and monitoring budget to highlight any deviations.
  • Develop appropriate Manpower plans including forecast employment future needs and ensure its periodical review, monitoring and alignment with ZC's financial capabilities and within the annual financial budget.
  • Initiate and Develop Human Resources programs as well as Compensation & Benefits plans and performance management systems, safety and creative programs to attract reward and retain employees.
  • Ensure full compliance of ZC policy and Procedures.
  • Keep up to date with best practice in recruitment and selection and manage the recruitment and selection of new staff in coordination with Zewail City policy & procedures.
  • Design and implement staff appraisal systems and develop job evaluation.
  • Develop, Document, implement HR Policies and Procedures, advise managers on organizational policy matters such as confidentiality agreement, equal employment, regulations Opportunity, and recommend needed changes.
  • Identify legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure their compliance with the Egyptian Labor Law and advise ZC management on disciplinary issues.
  • Direct the personnel function (vacation process, disciplinary actions, employee investigation), and all the employee relations and providing the Executive President with solutions.
  • Direct the exit interviews process to identify reasons for resignation as well as turn over ration.
  • Review the monthly payroll administration & approve it.
  • Manage, Coach and evaluate the direct reporting staff.
  • Liaise with other functional / departmental head so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements.
  • Design and Plan Training activities of all ZC employees as well as development plans for employees.
  • Facilitate change in organization to help the transition of all levels as well as the layoff plans.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Executive President.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 15 Years of experience in the HR field.
  • University Degree.
  • Master's Degree in HR , Management or any other discipline.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Egyptian Social Insurance , Labor law and HR best practices.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in governmental work environment and with accountability state authority is recommended.
  • Motivating , developing and directing people as they work , identifying the best people for the job.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential , managerial , decision making , communication skills and organizational skills are also useful in this profession.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple human resource discipline.
