Job Description

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  • Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
  • Plan, assign and review staff’s work.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Online payment and bank reconciliation.
  • Monitor the monthly financial reports of the company, such as payroll, invoicing, profit and loss statement ,and other transactions.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to BOD to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Preparing quarter and annual financial statements.
  • Work with the team to prepare for audits and with auditors to smooth completion.
  • Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
  • All preparations for VAT return.
  • Drivers monthly invoicing.
  • Coordinate with other departments for monthly budgets.
  • Asset tracking and depreciation.
  • Budget performance, and interim grant financial reporting as well as accounts analysis and reconciliations.

Job Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in commerce or a related field.
  • 5- 8 years of experience.
  • Good Command of English and MS Office package.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Experience in the Real Estate field is preferred.
  • Resident at Sheikh Zayed, 6 October or nearby.
