DevOps Engineer
Position Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer at LxT, you will work closely with our engineering, operations and product teams, You would ensure our suite of servers and databases are operating smoothly.
What You'll Do:
- Establish monitoring tools to increase service reliability
- Control deployment workflow
- Create and develop tools/scripts to automate builds and backups
- Conduct regular on-call duties and address issues pertaining to operations
- Participate in the design and architecture of standards and methods for large, scalable distributed systems
- Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting activities
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- 1–3 years of infrastructure administration or programming experience
- Extensive experience of any of the major cloud providers: GCP, AWS and Azure
- Working familiarity with docker and Kubernetes
- Solid Understanding of deployment systems
- Experience scaling APIs and websites
- Professional-level spoken and written English
- Strong command of Git and Linux
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling and deploying Elastic Search clusters
- Experience with continuous integration systems
