Determine machine speeds and feed rates. Knowledge of machine shop processes, part specifications and machine capabilities is required. Exercise discretion and judgment to produce the most efficient tool path. Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths. Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures.
Create setup sheets and tool sheets to guide setup and operation of machine. Ensure the quality of the work by using various measurement methods and equipment.
Also, develop/upgrade, deploy, and maintain designs of high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools. Produce designs that meet targets for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, and timing. Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of the part to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts.
Interact with director, researchers, and client, as necessary to obtain critical design information required to complete project within intended time frame.
Update and maintain product design files.
Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the design and produced product meet customer requirements.
Determine limitations, assumptions and solutions in the design and development of CAD models.
Determine design specifications and parameters for CAD models.
Write technical reports, contribute to cost analysis studies.

Education: BSc in Mechanical, industrial engineering or related field
Other Skills: We’ll offer training for CAD and CAM development.
Machining knowledge and strong programming fundamentals.
Candidate should have a strong CAM experience for multi-axis turning and milling machining.
CATIA and SolidWorks CAD & CAM experience. Select cutting tools.
Great attendance and a positive attitude.
Language: English is a must, Arabic is a must.
