Job Description

  • Identifying all activities in the facility and all production processes taking place in it from raw materials, intermediate materials, final product, hazardous materials, and waste, and taking the necessary precautions to prevent potential risks.
  • Identification of risks in the work environment (physical/mechanical/electrical/biological/chemical/negative) in terms of their characteristics, sources, and ways of exposing workers to their risks and effects on the health and safety of workers and the economics of the facility.
  • Analyzing and evaluating potential industrial risks, disasters and accidents, preparing emergency and crisis response plans, and training workers.
  • Participation in setting technical specifications for personal protective equipment, devices, and tasks and verifying their effectiveness and suitability to the nature of work (masks of all kinds according to activity/gloves/shoes).
  • Analyzing data on work-related accidents and injuries, occupational diseases, and serious accidents, and drawing the necessary recommendations to prevent accidents and work-related injuries.
  • Participation in setting the policy for raising awareness and educating employees through seminars, workshops, posters, and flyers.
  • Participation with the director of the administration in planning training programs for technicians and members of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
  • Periodic inspection of workplaces to identify risks and pollutants and the commitment of workers to implement instructions.
  • Preparing work permits before starting any operations for maintenance and repairs, or any other operations that are likely to cause danger to the safety and health of workers.
  • Establishing and reviewing the documents of the Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 specifications before they are approved, documented and issued.
  • Inventory of all laws, legislation, or other requirements that apply to the company and review and update the list of these laws in the event of any amendments thereto.
  • View the official Gazette to find out about new laws and government legislation or their amendments.
  • Reviewing and issuing various reports on occupational health and safety violations and following up on the implementation of its policies at the company level.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Proficiency in the implementation of HSE IMS based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 Standards (Lead Auditor Certificates)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the same field.
