Job Description
- Develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain valuable project control databases and reports for projects
- Project planning, scheduling, cost engineering (budgeting and forecasting) progress measurement and overall project controls for all projects
- Prepare the Baseline Program and establish time and cost control requirements
- Produce forecasts schedules on regular basis
- Provide information on schedule performance and alert the project team on issues that may cause delay and propose recovery scenarios
- Provides cost engineering expertise and develops cost estimation for the projects.
- Responsible for developing various cost estimates levels for various projects.
- Conducts cost analysis, cost control, and monitoring of the budget.
- Monitors cash flow & applies the necessary modifications if any.
- Takes a lead in preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations as requested and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules.
Integrates inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. - Reviews and assesses the work sequences with the total project plan.
- Establishes and implements methods for determining activity duration's within assigned disciplines or specialties.
- Develops quantity release and/or installation curves for assigned disciplines/areas or specialties.
- Reviews and approves invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules, as required.
Job Requirements
- BS in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-10 years’ progressive experience in Infrastructure Contracting fields.
- Strong familiarity with project management.
- Extensive Technical knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, cost phasing and control from the project initiation to close out phases, utilizing computer based systems (Primavera Project Management 'P6' & Primavera.
- Good knowledge in Document Control software functioning.
- Contract Management 'Expedition within the framework of an integrated project services function for the effective management of a wide range of concurrent projects, to meet the business plan objectives.
