Job Description

  • Troubleshoot user problems and determine possible solutions.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications software.
  • Provide system level support for computer software and business application
  • Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshops in parallel processing and use of large computer systems.
  • Investigate, recommend and install new applications.
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
  • Document application problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Scheduling and running regular tests to enhance the current systems and application
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Analyze application design, implement them and build activities
  • Ensure stability, integration and integrity of production systems
  • Responsible for operational support personnel and system administrator for application upgrades and patches
  • Coordinate and provide assistance for interface maintenance and support
  • Stay regularly in loop with the department managers, directors, end-users, system managers regarding projects, application issues and provide resolutions to troubleshooting issues
  • Create technical support documentation and keep it updated
  • Develop scripts as well as test plans and maintain them
  • Assist with the maintenance, installation, upgrades and testing of software for the users.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with various web and enterprise applications and resolve various server and application issues
  • Formulate objectives along with the system scope to modify or develop complex designs of the system
  • Plan & support with the hardware team for hardware upgrades, installation and maintenance.
  • Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and integration between different software systems.
  • Follow up on a ticket SLA’s
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for assessing new vendors support model.
  • Responsible for communication with third party and second line support.
