Job Description
- Troubleshoot user problems and determine possible solutions.
- Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications software.
- Provide system level support for computer software and business application
- Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshops in parallel processing and use of large computer systems.
- Investigate, recommend and install new applications.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
- Document application problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Scheduling and running regular tests to enhance the current systems and application
- Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Analyze application design, implement them and build activities
- Ensure stability, integration and integrity of production systems
- Responsible for operational support personnel and system administrator for application upgrades and patches
- Coordinate and provide assistance for interface maintenance and support
- Stay regularly in loop with the department managers, directors, end-users, system managers regarding projects, application issues and provide resolutions to troubleshooting issues
- Create technical support documentation and keep it updated
- Develop scripts as well as test plans and maintain them
- Assist with the maintenance, installation, upgrades and testing of software for the users.
- Troubleshoot and assist with various web and enterprise applications and resolve various server and application issues
- Formulate objectives along with the system scope to modify or develop complex designs of the system
- Plan & support with the hardware team for hardware upgrades, installation and maintenance.
- Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and integration between different software systems.
- Follow up on a ticket SLA’s
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
- Responsible for assessing new vendors support model.
- Responsible for communication with third party and second line support.
