Job Description
- Support/resolve Collaboration incident tickets.
- Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment which meets business requirements.
- Develops and writes procedures for installation, use and solving problems of communications hardware and software.
- Assists in the installation of communications hardware and perform minor equipment repairs.
- Performs or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing network problems and corrects identified problems.
- Performs hardware and software installations for the new network equipment.
- Records and maintains network hardware and software inventories.
Job Requirements
- College degree or Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Communication Technology and Network Administration.
- Experience with banking industry systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other teams.
- Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning.
- Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Working experience with wide and local area networks including experience with common-carrier data networks.
- Extensive experience of TCP/IP protocol, network troubleshooting, network design, routing protocols, and network security.
- Ability to document complex technical issues effectively summarizing issues for a range of technical and business management.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
