Job Description
We are in a dire need to hire a ghostwriter to be a vessel for our ideas turning them into perfect books.
- Read, edit, and write book drafts so that it is correct and understandable to the reader.
- Get book projects from A to B including setting timelines, outlining chapters, and controlling a fixed revision cycle.
- Capturing the clients’ voice including their natural way of speaking and any idioms they tend to fall back on.
- Verify facts cited in material for publication.
- Maintain good working relationships with authors and other key staff such as production, editorial assistants, proofreaders, graphics artists, and marketing personnel.
- Review and markup page proofs.
- Attend weekly meetings to review book schedules and discuss any issues.
Job Requirements
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Publishing knowledge.
- Candidates with business administration background will have priority.
- Previous writing experience of published books would be preferable.
