Job Description
- Draw and setup the target goals and business plan for the technical dept.
- Check and review the technical drawings, bom and process, to be assured that the work orders issued aptly verified and validated.
- Check uploading of the finished drawings as the last version of revision and compliance of procedure.
- Manage and distributing tasks and jobs acc. to skill matrix of the technical dept team.
- Maintain and keep the all drawings updated with fully detailed annotations and tolerances.
- Problem solver to the all‐technical dept. relating issues and make an alternative routes and solutions to ease and facilitate the workflow.
- Follow‐up the daily effort and workdone and to what extent the dealines achieved
- Develop and improve team’s culture of engineering via soft and technical training and courses, internally and externally.
- Support erp with products and components’ technically data needed to establish theoracle implementation.
- Establish a measuring tool to check and measure the performance of team by setting the kpi’s.
monthly, quarterly and yearly technical dept team assessment and make performance review meeting, then appraisal. - Build a comperhensive and quality delivered documents management system.
- Support the expansion and development in the field of technical department via searching for tools andsoftware programs which save time, give qualitative results.
- Develop and improve methods and approch of mould design and toolings.
contribute to product design and establishment of requirements. - Technical support the all product or process relating areas such as sales and outside brances, planning, production, quality, costing and top management.
- Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects.
- Deliver products consistently, on time, and on budget.
- Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed
ensure code produced meets company quality standards. - Process continuous improvement and enhance the quality level of finished drawings
Job Requirements
- Experience in dealing with molds for copper products
- Ability to liaise and interface with Executive and Senior Management in reviewing business issues and plans.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience of technical department techniques and tools such as:
- Engineering and modelling software proficiency such as Solidworks, NX, Inventor…etc.
- CNC programming and CAD-CAM proficiency.
- Strong process improvement & re-engineering capabilities.
- Creative & out of the box problem solving capabilities.
- Strong capabilities in developing and improving team matrix skills.
- Pressure die casting mould design and process knowledge .
- Organizational skills and ability to execute tasks under challenging circumstances, including skills in planning, scoping, and delivering engagements/ assignments and conducting project work.
- Strong presentation skills, communication and report writing skills.
- English language speaker.
