Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ITOM Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to ensure the effective operation and management of our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for supporting IT operations and automation tools
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify the root cause of problems and implement solutions. This may involve working with other teams or vendors to resolve issues that require specialized expertise.
  • Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and systems, including hardware and software inventory, network topology, and configuration settings.
  • Perform Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and backups. Ensure that hardware and software are properly configured and that systems are optimized for performance.
  • Coordinate Change Management: Work with other teams to ensure that changes to IT infrastructure and systems are properly managed and documented. Participate in change advisory board (CAB) meetings to evaluate proposed changes and assess their potential impact on IT operations.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, answering technical questions, and providing training as needed.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that IT infrastructure and systems are compliant with relevant policies and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering ,Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 1 years of experience in IT operations support.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with monitoring tools, network protocols, and operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
