Job Description

We are looking to hire a Senior Procurement Specialist to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for procuring the company's supplies, researching and identifying prospective suppliers, evaluating offers considering key business criteria and product specifications, and negotiating purchase agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new suppliers and ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet the required technical specifications
  • Negotiating purchase terms and evaluating the suppliers’ performances
  • Ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies
  • Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions
  • Ensuring that contracts’ terms and conditions are in line with Nagwa’s policies and are written in legal form
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and correcting shortcomings
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records
  • Conducting market and product research and cost analysis
  • Coordinating with the requisitions department to obtain required administrative information and documents necessary for processing the procurement
  • Reviewing and updating the list of contracts and keeping track of their renewal dates
  • Searching for global suppliers for international purchases

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or any relevant field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in the same role
  • Very good command of both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
