Job Description
GIG.Tech is a fast-growing IT start-up developing a cloud as a service solution. We are head quartered in Belgium, but our team is spread across the world.
We are looking for a full-time Backend Engineer to design and develop features for our cloud management platform to address the needs of the customers of GIG.Tech’s cloud services, cloud enablers and cloud resellers.
As a Backend Engineer in GIG.Tech you will
- Constantly learn advanced technologies and become an expert user of our platform, actively involved in continuous improvement of our product
- Consistently create high quality code, based on coding standards and best practices
- Use automated testing techniques to ensure stability of our product
- Work as a part of the team in active collaboration with our engineers.
Job Requirements
- You are experienced building scalable backend solutions (preferably in Python)
- You are experienced with development in Python (more than 3 years), automated testing, CI/CD automation
- You are familiar with or interested in learning to work with Go, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Redis, MinIO
- Proficient in spoken/written English
