Major Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, Specifications Section Head is managing a team of 4 to 5 that
promote the products of the company towards clients: as consultants, developers, architects, governmental,
educational and health care entities. - This role is to establish and maintain firm relation with direct and indirect targeted clients.
- Responsible for getting the products of Delta Sand Bricks in construction projects across all segments.
- Specifications Section Head will work closely and monitor the section team and coordinate with the sales team
to ensure that projects specified are confirmed. - Build and maintain a good relationships with the developers, consulting offices, clients, governmental organizations and contractors.
Essential Duties
- Build and manage her/his projects pipeline and portfolio to ensure continuous supply and revenue generation to meet the target.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and new customers via regular meetings, visits, and phone calls.
- Track the projects starting from design till being specified in the company’s favour
- Coordinate with sales team for all specified projects.
- Prepare all associated reports and analysis for the company projects.
- Have an up-to-date knowledge for any potential project and acquaintance of the construction market and prospective areas.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Architecture Engineering from a known university.
- 7+ years of experience in same position in a reputable building materials company.
- Construction materials market experience would be an asset.
- Must be a confident businessperson who has experience in getting products specified into construction projects.
- Ability to identify and develop potential opportunities to secure more business and projects into the pipeline.
- Excellent ability to present, sell, prescribe, and promote the company products portfolio in the Project sector
- A team player, outgoing, flexible, and enthusiastic.
- Must have a proven good connections, relations and strong network of consultants and contractors.
- Objective and concerned with customer accounts.
- Strong effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Work effectively, independently, and collaboratively in team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English language (speaking and writing).
- Computer software competencies as AutoCAD and ETABS. ERP and CRM would be an asset.
- Self-organized, analytical, and excellent planner who delivers plans and reports in a timely manner.
- Representable.
