Job Description
- Strategic development of supply chain processes and systems across the hospital, deliver cost-effective business process improvements, control inventory budgets and oversee demand planning.
- Develop a long term demand plan, increasing availability while reducing costs such as cost estimating and demand forecasting.
- Review the current systems and practices, and make strategic recommendations for improved processes going forward including, order and supplier management, inventory management and distribution servicing, supporting financial management goals.
- Regular review, revision and implementation of standard operating procedures and business processes in coordination with Warehouse Manager and Purchasing to ensure smooth operation of the supply chain
- Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators and circulate to key teams
- Train, develop, mentor and assist his subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the supply chain process to upgrade their knowledge and performance accordingly.
- Manage inventory budgets and strive for increased cost efficiency
- Ensure that all Reporting of any Statistical Data is greed timeframes for Key Management both Internally and Externally
- Manage the relationship with any third-party provider(s)
- Create open and honest communication, and foster collaborative relationships with internal teams
- Be a pro-active and positive member of the wider Hospital Operation Management Team
