Job Description

  • Responsible for the on-boarding & staffing of qualified native freelance suppliers around the globe.
  • Building a solid global database of suppliers, according to each phase’s objectives, for long term business needs, as demonstrated and shared by top management.
  • Adding appropriate resources to Vendor database, blacklisting vendors with issues, updating vendor information accurately, collaborating with the Accounting team to resolve payment issues, etc.
  • Responsible for negotiating new and existing vendor contracts and SLAs, establishing standards and guidelines for resources, assessments’ procedures, and ensuring that these policies are being followed.
  • Follow carefully defined guidelines for em-paneling vendors onboard which includes screening profiles, establishing communication, processing linguistic assessments and sharing results, getting NDA’s signed by suppliers, arranging calls with suppliers to resolve issues related to assigned project work, and tools technical support.
  • Work closely with all external resources to continually improve the quality and responsiveness of their service, addressing inquiries & provide effective solutions with elaborative information on time.
  • Should be able to collaborate well with Top-Management, Sales team, Project Management team to best understand their resource requirements and to liaise effectively with external parties, auditors, clients; to be able to efficiently provide correct inputs that help to close bids and meet delivery schedules.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Alsun, Arts, Mass Media, Politics & Economy, Languages and Translation, Foreign Language & Translation.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a vendor manager.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Details oriented.
  • Effective time management.
  • Arabic and English language proficiency both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations and bargaining skills with a focus on convincing suppliers to accept projects at proposed rates and conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of geography, countries, cultures, languages, time-zones, currencies, etc.
  • problem-solving ability to understand problems and arrive at solutions.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to chat with suppliers on different actively and simultaneously, and should also be able to search for suppliers via popular translation portals, business directories, business websites.
  • Receptive to changes in organizational functions, new areas of business, cost-saving initiatives
