Job Description
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
- Interprets engineering drawings and specifications in order to develop and provide engineered equipment submittals in compliance with; contract drawing, site coordination, and site installation requirements.
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Follows standardized submittal generation guidelines for preparation and processing of equipment engineering submittals, including but not limited to; equipment selection, configuration & option selection to match schedule, drawing and specification requirements.
- Supports detailed estimating of projects for Account executives to finalize and present to clients.
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
- Supports Account executives’ efforts to become basis of design through timely selections, specifications, sequences, drawings and review of documents as required.
- Prepare and submit required shop drawings in collaboration with implementation and installation teams.
- Develop new products utilization requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
