Job Description
- Manage the effective achievement of Supply Chain objectives through the leadership of the Purchasing, Warehouse.
- Prepare and recommend the Supply Chain budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget
- Recommend improvements to Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics policy and direct the implementation of procedures
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of Purchasing Manager And Warehouse Managers.
- Confer with planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Product line extensions & new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
- Monitor and report on cost trends for key commodities impacting product categories.
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
- Determine key supply chain KPIs
- Suggest solutions for process improvements
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Train and evaluate others
- Build and maintain good relationships with Suppliers
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.

- Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
- Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
- Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for sale.
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
- Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
- Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
- Ensure accurate product inventory for clients
- Develop an inventory tracking system to streamline our business operations
- Communicate with our Warehouse Manager about current stock and potential issues with orders
- Report on inventory activities and variances
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all sales channels and can cover direct demand from customers
- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Apply to purchase local and foreign process.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business
- Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year
- Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses
- Manage the company’s day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure that all purchasing agents are meeting their personal performance standards
- Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes
- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree holder or any equivalent professional qualification.
- Diploma or MBA in Supply chain is must.
- 10 to 15 years experience in supply chain at least 5 years in managerial position.
- Team player with good communication skills
- Experience in cosmetics and pharmaceutical companies is preferred.
- Good management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Self motivated person who displays initiative and creativity in problem
