Job Description

  • Contributes to the formulation and implementation of the financial strategy and plans as befitting the division and business line needs and objectives
  • Directs the day-to-day operations of the financial planning, providing expertise, encouraging teamwork, aligning work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards, meet established targets, objectives and employee engagement in a motivated work environment
  • Sets performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and development
  • Manages and oversees the implementation of financial policies and procedures in order to ensure all relevant requirements are fulfilled whilst delivering high-quality services
  • Oversees the inputs for payroll purposes and manages the monthly payroll run to ensure on-time delivery of compensation
  • Oversees the development of guidelines and procedures for the finance to ensure compliance with the overall business strategy and objective
  • Reviews and validates annual financial plan and model making sure it is aligned with overall company strategy
  • Reviews measurement results of financial performance and other periodical financial reports against targets and reporting variances for corrective actions and improvements
  • Reviews and validates different financial reports and studies such as pricing plan proposals and profitability/cost analysis/cost variances reports for corrective actions and improvements
  • Approves costing review of products/services of a quarterly basis as per market requirements, internal requirements ensuring marketing competitiveness while maintaining profits as planned
  • Manages and ensures the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the financial planning setting and individual objectives managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinates

Job Requirements

  • Non-compliance with financial policies and procedures identified by internal/external auditors.
  • Percentage of payroll transactions with errors.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • University Degree in Finance or Accounting (CMA, CFA, CPA preferred)
