Job Description

Maarefah Management is a world class Conference organiser with headquarters in Dubai, UAE and offices in Dubai-UAE, Cairo-Egypt and Bangalore- India. Maarefah is Hiring a Marketing Manager for its office in Cairo.

The event marketing manager aims to maximize company profits through creating successful marketing campaigns. The role involves developing and executing the marketing strategy, in conjunction with the event manager and the Managing Director, across the entire event portfolio, devising and executing marketing and media plans and managing internal and external relationships that will help the team achieve the required objectives. The role requires excellent operational marketing skills with the ability to think strategically about marketing across portfolio. The position requires excellent hands on Marketing Skills and organizations skills to be able to execute plans working on Multiple Projects at the time.

The Marketing manager will be responsible for the below tasks

  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns for events
  • Monitoring events' performance, Revenue, & market penetration.
  • Regular reporting to senior management about event performance and progress in marketing plans.
  • Managing internal and external relationship with project team and external partners
  • Liaising with Media partners and Supporting Associations and manage their partnerships.
  • Managing the organizations databases and CRM systems.
  • Managing all social media channels and develop an editorial calendar and prepare media content to increase customer engagement.
  • Drafting and sending email campaigns for the events
  • Leasing with the Data base research team to build data base for the event
  • Leasing with the Design team for event branding , marketing collaterals and printed materials
  • Liaising with the tele-marketing team to ensure maximum revenue is achieved

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a similar area preferred.
  • 5-7 years business related experience in marketing
    Fluent in
  • Spoken and written English (Must)
  • Project Management Skills with excellent results in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to compose periodical reports.
  • MS Office Proficiency (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and OUTLOOK).
  • Must have a good experience in Content writing.
  • Ability to present effectively in person and on the phone before customers.
  • Ability to solve problems and present out of the box solutions and innovative ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
  • Highly motivated, team oriented player, personable
  • Adequate knowledge of Social Media Platforms “Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development.
  • Knowledge about HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Photoshop – InDesign - Illustrator is a plus.
