Job Description
Main Duties:
- Responsible for requirements definition, design and implementation of web applications using HTML 5 and JavaScript technology.
- Responsible for contributing to and being a champion of web applications for Government Entities.
- Responsible for working with business owners to propose high-quality user experience solutions for mobile applications.
- Responsible for working with tertiary groups such as Security, Architecture, IT Operations, and QA to ensure quality design, delivery, and adherence to corporate standards.
- Develop web applications user interfaces and Web Service integration APIs using latest technologies.
- Develop mobile framework for upcoming projects.
- Mentor other developers, ensuring the quality of their code and designs.
- Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project.
- Research current technology trends to provide input on how they may influence overall enterprise architecture.

Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, SASS)
- 5+ years in a development role, preferably leading teams of other Development resources
- Expert in Git
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- A roll-up-the-sleeves get-it-done self-directed mindset.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred
- Good understanding of usability & UX concepts
- Experience with the Agile Scrum software development methodology is a plusBS/MS degree or equivalent experience
- Portfolio of published apps is mandatory.
- Good understanding of mobile platforms, device manufacturers, and mobile browsers.
- Experience in client-side coding using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with building UI/UX design and interactions.
- Experience with AJAX, REST API concepts, JSON and useful Design Patterns.
- 2 + years of overall software development experience, preferably secure, scalable web/mobile applications.
- Experience in using Git based source control.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with a solid analytical and statistical background.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
