Job Description
- Implement solutions on a wide variety of data network and data security elements
- Installation and support of intrusion detection systems, and firewall administration
- Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network security solutions and related monitoring tools including L2/L3 network devices, Network Admission Control (NAC), 802.1x, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN Solutions, Web Application Firewalls, Content Filtering, NetFlow Analysis
- Secure the infrastructure for electronic transactions systems.
- Using smart cards to access the operating systems of computers and services of the user management.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in: Technical support, services, information security, network security, engineering functions
- Very strong fundamental understanding of telecom network and routing environments.
- Packet capture tools and analysis of captures a must.
- Background in responding to, mitigating, and remediating security attacks
- Understanding of how DNS functions
- Advanced experience with a wide variety of security devices including routers, firewalls, IDS’s and load balancers
- Strong technical understanding of network fundamentals and internet protocols
- Proficient with Perl and shell scripting plus
- Strong knowledge of the security landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for assessing and mitigation)
- Must have strong verbal and written communication to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff
- Using Cisco Netscaler Desired
