Job Description
- Translates the wireframes design into actual code that produces visual elements
- Assures that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Follows best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Builds reusable code and libraries for future use
- Sticks to established coding standards and group procedures individually and in teams
- Adds to engineering team’s culture of high code quality
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimizes application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborates with other team members and stakeholders
- Implements tasks following functional specifications
- Writes well designed, testable and efficient code
- Participates in the estimation of new features and components
- Conducts technical research as needed
- Coaches less experienced UI developers
- Conducts technical interviews for Junior/midlevel UI developers
Job Requirements
- Very Good experience in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Very Good experience in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Very Good experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery
- Very Good experience in Angular JS
- Very Good experience in image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Good Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Very Good experience of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Very good experience in Agile development
- Very good experience with TFS
- Very Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Very Good knowledge in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Good visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
