Job Description:
- Operate the overall DWH Operations activities.
- Investigate and resolve IT DWH Operations problems and open incidents reported by business parties.
- Apply the quality check control steps on the DWH daily processes.
- Applying the backups procedures according to backup policy.
- Updating the DWH Operations procedures and SOP’s.
- Test DWH software systems or applications for software enhancements or new products
- Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts.
- Monitor and optimize DWH stages; including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction
- Operate comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements.
- Provide regular status reports to DWH business parties on a regular basis.
- Maintain high quality of all deliverables and provide efficient guidance to the team members.
- Ensure that all activities within the DWH Operations process are being performed at the highest possible level of quality and that it meets its associated Service Level targets.
- Make a daily call with the concerned business parties to check the satisfaction level.
- Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Day-to-day management
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work
- Comply with all relevant bank regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal bank policies and code of conduct in order to maintain bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risk
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Computer Science or it’s relevant.
- Minimum 1 year experience with relevant IT operations work.
- Must be creative to implement enhancements in a cost-effective matter
- Good thinking and awareness with decision making skills.
- Good organizational skills plus the ability to motivate people across the organization to provides solutions
- Good individual with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels.
- Good knowledge of banking systems
- Sound leadership, critical thinking, and project management skills
- Basic knowledge of business management and organization
- Problem solving Skills
- Good command of English language.
