Accounting Manager - Dubai

• As a VAT & Accounting Manager,
• You'll join an innovative start up based in Dubai to help clients manage the accounting and VAT compliance to new legislation due in 2018.
• You'll apply your technical skills to help your team identify risk areas and develop opportunities for VAT and accounting compliance solutions to the tax life cycle.
• You'll advise clients on VAT treatment of new and complex transactions and help resolve classification or other disputes and issues to position the companies offering.
• Your proactive, pragmatic and integrated strategies will help our clients to manage their risks to the UAE legislation.

Client responsibilities:

• Work effectively as a member of TaxWorx, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and supporting the company’s business and client objectives.
• Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with management teams
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

People responsibilities:

• Help people to develop through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff
• Transfer technical and professional knowledge to others through formal and on-the-job training
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training VAT professionals
• Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
