Job Description
- Participates yearly objectives setting meeting to discuss and develop the Commercial’s strategic direction.
- Accordingly develops and sets the strategy for the overseen department (Sales, Marketing ), submits it to the Chairman for review and approval.
- Reviews and approves the Group Commercial policies & procedures manual developed by the Functional Managers (i.e. , Marketing, Sales ) , and ensure strict compliance to the rules & regulations.
- Provides recommendations for updates on the Operational Policies & Procedures on bi-yearly basis, or if a need arises.
- Reviews and approves the policies and procedures manual to the overseen departments submitted by the Functional Managers (i.e. , Marketing, Sales ), and monitors their ongoing implementation and compliance. Incorporates all changes upon their occurrence, and ensures clear communication of those changes to the relevant departments.
- Prepares the yearly Group Commercial budget plan by obtaining budgetary data from the Functional Managers (i.e. , Marketing, Sales ) and ensures the adherence to the set budget while, auditing unnecessary deviation from the set plan.
- Participates in the Top Management team annual meetings to develop the marketing mix including (Product, Price, Promotions and distribution) and
- Submits the operating plan (OP) to the Chairman for review and approval.
- Researches and exploits opportunities to identify new prospects and new services, ensuring compliance to the company’s strategic directions and growth plans.
- Prepares a Market entry strategies for discussion with the Chairman. Follows-up and monitors the timely execution of the approved strategic markets initiatives, ensuring the achievement of the set objectives.
- Reviews and approves the yearly required training plans for all the Commercial department employees and communicates it the HR & Administration Department to incorporated in the Company training Plan.
- Reviews and approves the yearly sales plan with the Nontraditional Sales & Traditional Sales Managers and submits it to the Chairman for review and final approval.
- Monitors through a quarter meeting, the performance of the sales force for the Nontraditional and Traditional teams , ensuring the team is efficiently performing towards achieving the sales target.
- Reviews and approves the marketing communications activities and plans (i.e. seminars, conferences, exhibitions, events etc.) including; the design and supervision of production of communication material, ensuring adherence to group’s corporate identity.
- Reviews various departmental reports on a periodic basis; highlighting the main activities of the department pertaining to internal working environment and external market conditions, in addition to departmental achievements.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. from any discipline, MBA is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in a relevant field , with at least 5 years in a relevant managerial position.
