Job Description

The Big Picture:

DigiSay is the biggest MCN (Multi-Channel Network) in Egypt and the 3rd largest in the Middle East. Right now are transforming ourselves into a digital media company (including: production, marketing and distribution of digital media). Our overall objective is to become the the biggest digital media company in the EMEA region by 2021.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a social media audit; assess where improvements can be made and begin to develop a strategy to present and ultimately execute.
  • Advance the accounts’ social media presence through various social media outlets such as Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (original text, photos, videos, news, blogs).
  • Supervise, Interact and brainstorm with the team to deliver good content through social media strategies and deliver results.
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and monitor and report on results; create and schedule daily posts.
  • Align the social media program with the Account’s overall objectives and marketing strategy to ensure smooth integrated marketing programs.
  • Monitor all social media channels for customer interactions, brand fans, competitive intelligence and customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Responsible for social media ad placement on Facebook.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with advocates, influencers, and bloggers to drive brand support.
  • Track, evaluate and consistently report on the progress social media campaigns to the Marketing Manager.
  • Comply with all branding, voice and tone, and marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously seek out ways to improve the accounts’ brand and marketing efforts through new methods within social media.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Social Media Manager role with complete responsibility over all aspects of a company’s social media program.
  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms and being an active and engaged social media user.
  • Exceptional level of content writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Proven ability to hit key social and engagement metrics.
  • Ability to creatively and positively engage with consumers through social media.
  • Experience with executing Facebook advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in managing online communities; independent of the major social networks.
  • Able to creatively develop original content that will engage consumers.
  • Experience with creating reports in Excel on results from social media campaigns.
  • Well-versed in social media best practices.
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Hootsuite or similar tool, Social Media Analytics software, etc.
