Job Description
- Managing all marketing for the university and activities within the marketing department.
- Responsible the production of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Prospectuses and other student-facing marketing materials.
- Deploying successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Responsible for the digital media including, Search Engine Optimization, social media, website management and e-campaigns).
- Help to maintain the student-facing websites which the team are responsible for, including the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Study websites, to ensure they are kept up to date and serve as a best-practice example.
- Working with colleagues from across the College and at all levels to generate additional content as required.
- Writing effective and engaging copy for print and digital communications.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging across all marketing channels.
- Responsible for budget, staffing and overall vision of the marketing and communications function.
- Maximize opportunities in both traditional and new media to elevate the profile of the university, its mission, exhibitions and programs locally, nationally and internationally.
- Implements strategic communications and determines target markets from promotional materials through appropriate channels such as print materials, electronic communications, broadcast communications and social media.
- Develop creative and collaborative marketing partnerships to enhance the university's role in the community.
- Manage staff for the marketing and communications department
- Developing the marketing strategy for the university in line with university objectives.
- Overseeing the university’s marketing budget.
- Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
- Working closely with design agencies.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant university functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

- Experience in a similar role in a large, complex organization.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Confident and dynamic personality.
- Strong creative outlook.
- Excellent written English and Arabic, including the ability to tailor copy for different print and web channels, are also essential in this role.
- Highly creative, with a proven track record of web editing and copy editing
- Outstanding organization and interpersonal skills and are also essential.
- Diplomatic and will be comfortable working with staff of all levels.
