Job Description
Project Management
- Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.
- Define, develop, and actively manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
- Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff, ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risks.
- Comply with project governance metrics that provide internal visibility of projects’ health.
- Work with Resource Management to ensure company wide goals for resource utilization are achieved.
Customer Satisfaction
- Strive to achieve a referenceable result from each project.
- Obtain a client satisfaction rating per project and achieve a score at or exceeding corporate target benchmark.
- Clearly define and articulate project risk items to client in a way that the risks are understood.
Quality Management
- Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
- Promotes teamwork and culture of accountability.
- Provide quality project deliverables including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, requirements and design documentation, and deployment plans.
- Assist in quality testing the application prior to user testing.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of software project management experience preferably on enterprise-level implementations in a management consulting organization.
- Grasp on Cloud-based tools, techniques, systems, and solutions required.
- Working knowledge and project management experience of Oracle suite including Oracle EBS Financials, Service Contracts, Install Base, Inventory, Order Management, Field Service
- Experience with managing both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
- Must have an ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership including C-level client stakeholders.
- Must have a solid understanding of foundational object-oriented programming and software development.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of software build and release management processes.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel and clients, both in verbal and written modes; able to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and experience mentoring resources.
- Must have the ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple professional disciplines. (Business Analysts, Software Engineering, Systems Administrators, Database Administrator, and Designers)
- Must have the ability to multi-task, work with multiple clients at a time and effectively manage their individual needs during implementation cycles.
- Must have the ability (and preference!) to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment.
- Must have the ability to work independently with remote project teams and able to travel as needed (approximately 25%).
- Experience managing projects through SDLC using MS Project, Professional Services Management tools (FinancialForce, OpenAir, etc.) or similar technologies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively drive positive change through holding others accountable for execution and results in a collaborative environment.
